Amrit Jal is an initiative of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) & ETPB in collaboration with Homeland Group, rooted in the spiritual heritage of Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, the revered home of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sahib.
At the heart of Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur is Khoo Sahib, the Holy Well, a historic well associated with the life and daily use of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sahib. From this sacred well, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sahib drew water while cultivating his fields (Kheti Sahib) and used it for his daily needs.
For centuries, Khoo Sahib has remained an enduring part of Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur’s sacred landscape. Its Holy Water is revered by generations of the Sikh community and Naam Lewas as a sacred blessing and a living connection with the memory and presence of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sahib. Amrit Jal was created to preserve that connection and extend its reach worldwide.
For more than four years, an operational chemical-free water processing and bottling facility adjacent to Khoo Sahib has been serving visiting Sikh yatrees. During this period, Amrit Jal has been provided free of any charge as Seva to the Sangat visiting Kartarpur Sahib.
Amrit Jal has developed an international distribution network through which the Holy Water reaches Gurdwaras, Sikh welfare institutions, communities and devotees across the world.

Amrit Jal is drawn from the holy well (Khooh Sahib) inside Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, a place of immense spiritual significance.

The Holy Water therefore represents more than a source. It represents a way of life — a life of Naam Japna, Kirat Karni, Vand Chhakna, Sarbat da Bhala and Seva.
For generations, devotees have approached the Holy Well with reverence. To earn through honest labour, integrity and righteous means. The Amrit Jal initiative is founded upon a transparent service model in which the sacred water itself is not commercialised.
To share what we have with others and ensure that blessings and resources are extended beyond ourselves. Amrit Jal reflects this by extending the connection of Kartarpur Sahib beyond the individual pilgrim towards families, Gurdwaras, devotees and Sikh communities across the world.
To serve without selfish expectation and with humility. For more than four years, Amrit Jal has been and is being provided free of charge to visiting yatrees at Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur.
