Amrit Jal is founded upon three fundamental principles:
To preserve the reverence, identity and spiritual significance of the sacred source at Khoo Sahib.
To selflessly serve the visiting Sikh yatrees, devotees, and Sikh communities with humility and responsibility.
Amrit Jal is supported by an established infrastructure and international network enabling its respectful accessibility beyond Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur.
Every stage — from source to processing, bottling, packaging, storage and transportation — upholds the principles of dignity, authenticity, transparency and trust.
Amrit Jal represents a living connection to the sacred heritage of Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Kartarpur. Its purpose is not only to offer water but to carry the values of humility, service and care that define the Sikh tradition.
Deep within the sacred earth of Kartarpur Sahib lies Khoo Sahib, a historic well associated with the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sahib. It is remembered as the well from which Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sahib drew water while cultivating his fields — where spirituality and honest labour became one.
The well therefore represents more than a source of sacred water. It represents a way of life — a life of Naam Japna, Kirat Karni, Vand Chhakna, Sarbat da Bhala and Seva.
For generations, devotees have approached this sacred source with reverence. Its waters have witnessed centuries of pilgrims, seasons and history while remaining part of the living spiritual landscape of Kartarpur Sahib. Its legacy continues to flow. Amrit Jal carries this legacy forward, with the deepest respect for its source and its sacred significance.
